JB BARNETT (Playing - TBA)
“One of the most promising singer-songwriters you’ll find in Houston or anywhere else…He’s an old soul storyteller, a genuine artist with an impressive gift for expression…Do yourself a favor and get to know JB Barnett.” -Music News Magazine (November 2009) With his debut, “The Getaway EP”, JB Barnett proved his ability to create music that inspires, motivates, and taps deep into the heart of his audience. He is a singer/songwriter from Houston, TX and a true troubadour at heart. He spent a year and a half touring throughout Australia, and he is now back in Houston with his second album, “Anything But Plan B”.Â
Often compared to the likes of Jack Johnson and John Mayer, JB Barnett’s music is catchy, witty, and guaranteed to get stuck in your head. He is the sole mastermind behind his albums; writing, recording, producing, mixing, and mastering each track.Â
TREY CLARK (Playing - TBA) Trey moved from Nashville to Houston at the age of 13. Just 2 years later, he started his music career and has been playing professionally for nearly 20 years. This University of Houston grad has 7 years of guitar experience and started out playing in several rock bands around town, including a Metallica Tribute band. He began the Trey Clark Band in 1999. In 2002, Trey won the Houston Press Reader’s choice award for “Best Overall Band” in Houston. He has released 3 CD's. Trey's music has been classified as Texas Country, Southern Rock, Americana, and Red Dirt. On any given night, the band may cover anything from Tom Petty, Kings of Leon, Sublime, Jimmy Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Pat Green, The Doobie Brothers, Johnny Cash, Jason Mraz, Keith Urban, Bob Marley and countless others.
NIGEL EDISON (Playing - TBA)
FEEDING JAMES (Playing - TBA) For the past 6 years, Feeding James has been entertaining crowds around Houston. With an energetic show and eclectic mix of songs, they can provide the sound track for any party. On any given night, Tree (guitar), Brian (Vocals), Patrick (drums) and Jeff (bass) can be heard playing songs by The Toadies, Prince, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ludacris, and many more. They also promise to never play Mambo #5 (apologies to any Lou Bega fans). http://www.myspace.com/feedingjames
SAMMY HUNDLEY (Playing - TBA)
Sammy grew up around music. His mom is a singer/songwriter/musician and so was one of his earliest, closest friends, Mike Parrish. It only makes sense that he'd want to follow in their footsteps. He started his music career at the age of 15 and hasn't looked back. When asked about a hobby, he says, "Who needs a hobby, when you love your job this much?" His influences include: James Taylor, Jim Croce, Michael McDonald, Phil Keaggy, Carol King, Elton John, Billy Joel, The Beatles, Ray Charles, Waylon Jennings, Stephen Bishop, The Bee Gees, and Smokey Robinson ... to name a few.
STEVE LEDBETTER (Playing - TBA)
This native Texan grew up in Seguin. Steve started traveling in bands at the age of 15. Music helped pay his way through college. He attended Texas A & M with the money he made on gigs. Steve's first gig in college was an acoustic duo with Roger Creager at the Ptarmigan. He also played in a 6-piece band and a band called Dirty Cooler, another acoustic duo, until graduation. Steve continues to write and play, but on a much slower pace than college. Back then, he had enough energy to do 4-5 shows a week! His musical influences include Pat Green, James Taylor, John Conlee, George Strait, The Bellamy Brothers, Waylon Jennings, Jack O'Pierce and Robert Earl Keen. On any given night, you may hear Steve play music from Bon Jovi and John Mayer to Pat Green and Waylon Jennings.
THE RUSE (Playing - TBA) This exciting band is comprised of three musicians: Pete Scafidi (vocals, guitar), Alan Dossett (drums, percussion), and Phil Peterson (bass, light show, dance moves). They perform a variety of popular music with a very eclectic mix to keep audiences around Texas entertained for hours. The Ruse stays busy playing all over the Houston area. They average about 4 shows a week.
